Database Architect for IT Company in the Chicago Metro Area (full time, one position)

JOB DESCRIPTION |
Perform Data transformation and Migration task between Heterogeneous data sources; Work with product vendors for upgrades and performance improvements; Administer Data movement and restoration tasks between multiple environments to assist developers and application users. Manage custom solution deployments and assist developers through Performance Query tuning. Must have a Masters (or foreign equiv) or Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field, plus three years experience (w/Masters) or five (5) years of progressive experience (w/Bach) in the IT field. Exp must include at least three (3) years on SQL Server databases. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience in lieu of the stated education and experience requirements as determined by a professional evaluation service. Frequent travel and relocation may be required.
