During a testing project, it is common for the following activities to occur:

System/acceptance test: To be as accurate as possible, testing occurs in an environment that reflects the production environment. It is executed through the joint effort of Intellisys and client personnel. It typically occurs on the client site, and serves as fundamental training for production support personnel.

Security test: Internet systems have unique security requirements given the distributed technical environment and global access features. To verify that all security concerns have been addressed, security tests are performed to cover authentication, non-repudiation and infrastructure concerns. They are designed to test the security of the network and platform, operating system, encryption, server access, firewall, and application. Security tests are also performed on production hardware when possible, given that any security violation is likely to be directed at that platform.

Performance test: Performance testing is done to ensure the system meets an acceptable level of performance and that the system architecture performs to specifications.

Training and documentation: Our testing methodology also includes creating and delivering user training materials and system documentation, which typically includes the user manual, operations manual, on-line help, and technical architecture document. These activities continue our approach to knowledge transfer in a formal and visible manner. User training delivery may also be required to prepare for initial deployment.
