Dr. Bala Balachander
Dr.Bala Balachander is the Chairman of the Advisory Board. He has been a Management faculty at the prestigious Kellogg School of Management from 1973. He was Chairman of the Department of Accounting Information and Management from 1979 - 1983. He has been conferred the Padma Shri Award by the Government of India for his exemplary services in the field.
In 1984 he was appointed Distinguished Professor of Accounting Information and Management and was Director of the Accounting Research Center from 1985-2006.
Mr.Gowri Shankar
Gowri is a seasoned executive with 30 years of experience in multinational companies such as AT&T, FedEx and Holiday Inn in the US. He has degrees in Engineering from IIT Madras and The University of Texas, an MS degree in Electronic Commerce from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA from the University of Chicago. Gowri advises Intellisys on strategic alliances and India affairs.
In his spare time, Gowri is a keen golfer, tennis player and also an active Rotarian. Besides that, he is an active member of American Mensa, a founder Chairman of Mensa Chennai and serves on the executive committee of Mensa India.
Dr.Murli Nathan
Murli Nathan has around twenty years of experience working with global, multinational corporations in the US, Asia and Europe. Over the course of his career, he has worked in all aspects of business management and leadership. His major job responsibilities have included many facets of managing corporations. Working for companies such as Amoco Corporation, Lyondell and British Petroleum (BP), Murli has brought together and led people from over twenty five countries.
Prior to founding DestinHaus, his management consulting firm in US, Murli was accountable for the P&L of an international business within BP with annual revenues of over a billion dollars.
Murli graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Chennai, and has an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago and a Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
